The team with the participation of Róża Bilska won the 4th edition of the Constitutional Tournament

We are pleased to announce that the trainee team with the participation of Róża Bilska won the fourth edition of the Constitutional Law Competition organized by the Zbigniew Hołda Association.

The Constitutional Law Competition is a moot court in the field of constitutional law, which is addressed to law students and legal adviser trainees.

The tournament takes place in parallel within two independent leagues - student and trainee, based on the same tournament case. The simulation of proceedings before the Constitutional Tribunal takes place in two stages. First, a written stage is held, consisting of the preparation of a motion to the Constitutional Tribunal challenging the adopted statutory solutions, and then a response to such a motion.

The best teams selected in the written stage qualify for the oral stage. In simulated court hearings, they will take on the role of participants in the proceedings before the Constitutional Tribunal. The best two teams in each league take part in the Grand Finale, during which the winners of the Tournament are determined.

This year the Board of the Association decided to resign from organizing the oral stage (final) of the Tournament. This decision was dictated by the still unstable epidemiological situation, but also by the awareness that the passage of time could affect the decomposition of personal composition of teams, in connection with the completion of studies or applications.

The winners of the written stage were selected on the basis of the total number of points obtained for both letters developed by the teams (cassation and response to it). And so the team composed of Kinga Ber, Róża Bilska, Mateusz Lisiecki and Bartłomiej Czarnecki under the supervision of dr. Bartosz Szolc-Nartowski became the winner of the applicant league!
