Stocznia Remontowa NAUTA S.A. is now the official owner of dry dock SD I.

We are pleased to inform you that our client, Stocznia Remontowa NAUTA S.A., has acquired the dry dock SD I along with a crane from the Industrial Development Agency S.A. The dry dock SD I has a length of 240 meters, a width of 40 meters, and a depth of 8 meters, and it was commissioned in 1963. Originally part of the assets of Stocznia Gdynia S.A., it will continue to be operated by the oldest functioning Polish shipyard – Stocznia Remontowa Nauta S.A., which celebrated its 95th anniversary in 2021. The investment secures the production capabilities of the shipyard and allows the company to look to the future with optimism.

The legal team, represented by lawyers Marcin Deczkowski and Karolina Sikora, had the pleasure of supporting the shipyard in this transaction. The transaction was multi-stage and required coordination in various legal areas. In particular, cooperation with public authorities was necessary, as their involvement in the transaction was dictated by relevant legal requirements.
