Falcon V Systems S.A., a joint venture created by a Liberty Global group entity and a Vector group entity, has raised financing in another investment round involving Falcon's existing shareholder from the Liberty Global group and a new investor - entity from the Charter Communications group. The additional funding will be used to further develop technology for the telecommunications industry that Falcon is working to create. The acquisition of Charter Communications as a strategic partner is an important step for Falcon to achieve its strategic business goals.
Our lawyers, Mateusz Jasiński and Łukasz Winkowski, provided Falcon and Vector sp. z o.o. with comprehensive legal advice in connection with the aforementioned transaction, including, among others, preparation of transaction documentation, participation in negotiations with investors and support in closing the transaction.
Falcon provides a cost-effective, scalable and non-proprietary open DAA solution for multiple system operators (MSOs) based on Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV). This non-monolithic, agile architecture will enable more efficient use of network, data center and cloud resources. With open interfaces, the solution evolves as needs grow and supports operator collaboration with other vendors.
We sincerely congratulate the entire Falcon Team and keep our fingers crossed for continued success with the project.
